The Pneumatic Eyelet Closing Press works with a compressor, the compressor uses air pressure to close the eyelets. In order for the press to work, a 6 to 10 bar compressor with a reserve tank and the capacity of 100 litters is needed. This size compressor allows for a steady press rhythm when closing eyelets.
The Pneumatic Eyelet Closing Press has a steel frame that is solid and sturdy. The press is waist high, a comfortable working height. The press is activated by standing on a step high foot peddle that is mounted onto the machine. The operator needs to lift his foot and step on the pedal in order for the press to work.
It is self-piercing; therefore, you do not need a Hollow Punch to make a hole in the material beforehand. The male part of the eyelet is placed on the top part of the press because it does the cutting, whilst the female is placed on the bottom part of the press with the material placed between the male and female. By pulling down on the lever the eyelet will crimp closed.
